Senior System Security/IA SME Job Locations USA-VA-Arlington Job ID 2018-50915 Number of Positions 1 Job Function Program Management Security Clearance Level Top Secret Full/Part Time Full Time Job Description Customer and Mission : Joint Service Provider (JSP) --- The intent of the JSP is to be a customer-focused organization that provides, manages, operates, and maintains IT shared services for the Pentagon and select agencies and organizations in the NCR. By Department of Defense (DoD) Directive, JSP is to be the central source for IT services, and therefore eliminate the requirement for each DoD component to establish, operate and maintain duplicative technology. -- -- This is a great opportunity to affect change by being an integral part of a team of Infrastructure, System, Storage, COOP, Process, Project Management, Cyber Admins and Engineers responsible for providing implementation, monitoring and operations and maintenance of the core enterprise platform services used primarily by the NCR DoD community. You will be providing front seat support with direct impact on the provision of mission operational IT services to tens of thousands of military, government and civilian personnel. -- Amongst other mission services the team is responsible for operational server hosting, in which the hardware, software, infrastructure, and maintenance required to host the customer-managed applications are in a consolidated, virtualized environment where JSP manages the server environment up to the operating system and provides operational monitoring and facility support for the Operations (OPS) consolidated server rooms (CSRs). The team also supports an enterprise storage and backup environment, the Pentagon Facilities network, COOP requirements and support to the DISA Organizational Messaging Service (OMS). -- The Senior System Security IA SME shall be the Program Manager/Lead for the remaining Facility Support Directorate (FSD)--positions. The Senior System Security analyst SME shall serve as the knowledge expert of all security related aspects of the FSD Inudstrial Control System (ICS) computing environment. This SME should have proven experience implementing and maintaining security postures within complex network architectures. This SME must have knowledge of Defense in Depth concepts supporting DoD infrastructures, C&A, physical and personnel security concepts. -- The candidates must possess knowledge in handling utility systems and technologies in support of the FSD ICS Network -- Minimum Qualifications: a) Experience in a DoD Technology environment. b) Experience/knowledge of the DoD IAVM programs. c) Experience with ACAS and HBSS architectures d) Develop appropriate security policies, and perform periodic upgrades and updates to servers and network devices on Building Maintenance network to ensure appropriate secured access to data. e) Respond to Network Operations notifications, shall utilize the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) to acknowledge, monitor and create appropriated security reports, and apply recommended IAVA to the Building Maintenance network in specified timeframe. f) Update and track system vulnerabilities, and provide information system security recommendations and assistance. The contractor shall comply with all appropriate DoD and applicable agency security standards. g) Vulnerability scanning using ACAS and other security measures to mitigate risks to the network h) Maintain and Monitor the Host Based Security System (HBSS) i) Maintenance of the System Security Authorization Agreement (SSAA) for the network j) Provide information system security advice and assistance k) Design/Maintain/Create system configuration and architecture documentation l) Design /Maintain/Create system process and procedure documentation m) Maintain and support DoD Information Assurance Risk Management Framework (DIARMF) accreditation and documentation for the network n) Perform configuration management, vulnerability assessments, and vulnerability management assistance for systems and network o) Experience in FISMA, DoD IG Inspection, ACA, and other accreditation and certification programs. p) Knowledge of the Defense in Depth concepts and implementation. q) Knowledge of physical and personal security experience. r) Knowledge of Incident Response, Auditing, and CNDSP. s) Knowledge of and comprehension on how to implement 8570.01-M./DoD 8140. In the role as the Senior System Security IA SME serves as a top level technical or functional expert. -- Serves as a top level technical or functional expert supporting one or more clients and unlimited user groups. Performs highly specialized technical tasks associated with cutting-edge technologies. Works with user groups to solve business problems with available technology including hardware, software, databases, and peripherals. Applies expert functional knowledge and experience to significant business projects or processes. May perform business development activities, including providing technical input to proposal efforts. Provides guidance and training to less experienced staff. May serve as a technical task or project leader. Will provide supervisory oversight. Maintains current knowledge of relevant developments in area of expertise. Participates in special projects as required. -- -- Education Contract Requirement: Bachelor's in Science degree in Computer Engineering, computer information systems, telecommunications, or management information systems, or have 10 years of documented experience, relevant to this key position -- GDIT Requirement: Masters Degree in a related discipline Qualifications 20+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN AREA OF EXPERTISE. -- Top Secret clearance required.
